Samoa Joe Possibly Making Return To NXT Brand

WWE has released a number of talents so far this year, and following WrestleMania 37 it was announced that former United States Champion Samoa Joe had been let go.

Now Fightful Select is reporting that numerous WWE and NXT talent and staff members have heard that the company is interested in bringing Samoa Joe back as part of the NXT brand.

Samoa Joe was released as part of the talent cuts made back in April, and at the time of his release he was working as an announcer for the Monday Night Raw brand. It’s being said that when it comes to a possible NXT return the idea would be for him to wrestle.

It’s worth noting that the talent and staff have said that NXT officials, not necessarily anyone specific, have been interested in bringing Joe back.

There’s currently no word on whether or not a return will happen, but there’s been speculation in NXT, and some believe that a Samoa Joe return will happen.
