Samoa Joe Joins Cast Of Transformers For Exciting New Role

The career of a WWE Superstar can take an unexpected turn and sometimes lead to pretty big things and interesting opportunities. The Rock, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Batista are just a few of the people who have found success in television and Hollywood after making an impression in WWE. Now it looks like there is one more to add to the list of people who could be looking to make a claim for The Miz’s current spot as resident A-Lister in WWE.

Samoa Joe recently announced he is joining the cast of the upcoming Transformers animated series. Joe will apparently provide the voice for Predaking which is just an appropriate role for the Samoan Submission Machine. Both are ruthless, remorseless, and have a voice that can strike fear into anybody without ever touching them. He didn’t confirm his role, but the “Predaking Lives” hashtag might have been a good indicator.

In case you didn’t know, Predaking is this big dragon-looking Deceptacon (bad guy) created by Shockwave’s science. But he soon illustrates a mind of his own and doesn’t just stick to the status quo of being a bad guy and doing whatever Megatron says. It will be a very interesting role for Samoa Joe and could hopefully turn into a recurring gig he will have for years.

The Predaking character is intelligent and scary as well. In all reality, Predaking may have been the first Decepticon that Megatron actually feared which should say a lot considering we’re talking about Megatron.

Needless to say, this is exciting news for WWE fans and followers of the Transformers franchise as well because one awesome character might be getting a new voice and it could be a perfect fit. The only question is which of the two is actually more dangerous. After all, Predaking can unleash a ton of fury but under the right circumstances, it may be no match for the Coquina Clutch.
