His Intitial Thoughts On CM Punk Signing With UFC:
“A minute after I thought that, I realized who my friend is and how his thought process is and how his mindset is. I link that up with fighters that I’ve known, and they have that mindset. Steel sharpens steel and he’s hanging out in a factory. He’s in a good camp, and he’ll do the work. I’ve seen him in scraps.”
Of If He’s Talked To Punk Since He Signed With UFC:
“Most of the times it’s just wacky banter. I have a pretty good network of coaches that I’ve met over the years, and of course I made those available to him. He’s done his own research. Outside of that it’s mostly ridiculous texts. Me making walkout theme suggestions. I said Pat Benetar.
