The National has an interview with NXT star Sami Zayn at this link. During the interview, Zayn discussed his Canadian – Syrian background and wrestling in Abu Dhabi earlier this year.
“It was honestly a dream come true,” Zayn said of wrestling in Abu Dhabi. “I was always a wrestling fan and, being an Arab kid who grew up in Canada, there was no representation for people like me. I think it was just amazing to come here to the amazing fans and represent Arabs in a positive light.”
