There’s no denying that 2022 has been a huge year for Sami Zayn. Over the last few months Sami Zayn has become a key figure in The Bloodline storyline which has also led to him becoming one of the top stars on the SmackDown brand.
It’s safe to say that Sami’s career has been going well so far, but he recently told Sports Illustrated that he would have become a teacher if he didn’t pursue wrestling.
“I would have gone into teaching and something in the humanities. English teachers were the only ones that didn’t hate me. They were the only ones who saw my potential. Math teachers, they were always fed up with me.”
Zayn also acknowledged that his in-ring career isn’t going to last forever when he added, “Even now, my days are somewhat numbered as an in-ring performer. There is still meaning to me in passing on the knowledge I’ve been able to accrue over the past 20 years now.”
Sami Zayn will team with Roman Reigns on Friday night when they face off against John Cena and Kevin Owens. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
