Business has picked up in a big way for The Bloodline storyline in recent weeks and Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso reunited on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown ahead of Crown Jewel.
On Saturday the Crown Jewel premium live event kicked off in a big way as Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. The Bloodline opened the show and Solo’s Bloodline picked up the win.
Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline entered first then Roman Reigns entered with Jimmy Uso by his side. Jey Uso made his entrance last and he walked to the ring through the crowd. Roman Reigns looked slightly annoyed as he stood in the corner and witnessed the big reaction that Jey Uso received during his entrance.
Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga represented Solo’s Bloodline in the match while Tonga Loa watched from ringside. Jey Uso and Tama Tonga kicked off the match.
After a few minutes the crowd started chanting “we want Roman” but Jey hesitated as he tagged in Jimmy instead. Roman looked confused. Jimmy started arguing with Jey as Tama Tonga attacked him from behind then tagged in Jacob Fatu. Solo tagged in shortly after and taunted Roman Reigns as he beat down Jimmy Uso.
Roman finally tagged in and he faced off against Solo Sikoa in the middle of the ring. They exchanged strikes as the fans cheered Roman and booed Solo. Reigns connected with the Superman Punch then went for the spear, but Solo blocked it with a knee then countered with the Samoan Spike. Jimmy Uso broke up the pin at the last second.
Jacob Fatu took out Jimmy Uso then Jey Uso took out Jacob with three superkicks. He went for a dive to the outside only for Jacob to counter with a head butt.
Back in the ring Roman went for the spear again, but Tama Tonga tried to interfere. Roman threw Tama Tonga into the referee which knocked the ref down. Roman had to fight off Solo’s Bloodline by himself, but it was too much. Solo ended up hitting Roman with the Samoan Spike twice then pinned him to win the match.
After the match Jacob Fatu put the Ula Fala on Solo. When Roman saw that he tried to attack Solo, but the rest of the new Bloodline attacked him. Jimmy tried to make the save only to be overpowered. The Bloodline prepared to put Roman through the announce table. Jey Uso then attacked them and they threw him into the ring.
Solo wrapped a chair around Jey’s neck in the corner then Sami Zayn’s music hit to a big reaction from the crowd. Sami got in the ring and stood in front of Jey as Solo’s Bloodline questioned which side he was on. Solo reached out for a hug as the fans chanted “Sami Uso!”
Sami looked at Jey in the corner then acted like he was going to hug Solo, but hit him with an exploder suplex instead. Jimmy and Jey got back up then Roman did too and they all fought off the new Bloodline together.
Solo Sikoa ended up in the ring alone with Roman, Sami, Jey and Jimmy. Roman Reigns went for the Superman Punch on Solo Sikoa as Sami went for a kick at the same time. Solo moved out of the way and Sami accidentally collided with Roman. Jimmy Uso got in Sami’s face then Jey pulled them apart as Roman struggled to get up.
