Sami Zayn recently returned to the WWE main roster and he’s competing in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 32. But last night at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Sami Zayn took on Shinsuke Nakamura in what many are calling a potential match of the year candidate.
In the end Nakamura defeated Sami Zayn and after the match it looked like the NXT crowd was saying goodbye to him for good. But have we seen the last of Zayn in NXT?
WWE caught up with him after his match with Nakamura and he said that he doesn’t know what’s next and he doesn’t know what his loss at TakeOver means. He said that he’s just looking forward to WrestleMania 32 and he doesn’t know what the future holds. You can check it out in the clip above along with clips from Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura below.
Sami Zayn is set to compete in a 7 man ladder match at WrestleMania 32. He will be facing off against Kevin Owens, The Miz, Stardust, Sin Cara, Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder. The winner of the match will walk away with the Intercontinental Championship. This is his first WrestleMania and although he didn’t get the job done at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, things could do differently on Sunday.
