Over the years there have been many wrestlers who have laced up the boots and competed in a professional wrestling ring, but only certain performers are known as the best of the best.
Sami Zayn has been working hard to add more accolades to his legacy, and on Friday Night SmackDown this week the current Intercontinental Champion faced off against Daniel Bryan in a non-title match.
In the end it was Sami Zayn who picked up the win over Daniel Bryan via count out.
Following the match Sami took to Twitter to praise Daniel Bryan when he called him “the best in ring performer of our generation” and posted the following:
“As much as I run my mouth, it is always an absolute privilege to be able to get in the ring with Daniel Bryan. You never know if or when it might happen again. He is, in my opinion, the best in ring performer of our generation.
Still it should be noted, I won the match.”
