Sami Zayn Attacks Roman Reigns On WWE SmackDown, Huge Title Match Announced For Elimination Chamber

The Royal Rumble was a huge event for The Bloodline as Sami Zayn refused to hit Kevin Owens with a chair after the main event, so The Bloodline turned on Sami after he hit Roman with the chair instead. The Bloodline then beat Sami down as Jey Uso walked out.

This week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns asked Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso if they had heard from Jey Uso, and they confirmed that they hadn’t. Roman started to get a little heated as he said that it’s disrespectful that Jey hasn’t communicated in a week. He told Solo and Jimmy to go find Jey.

Later in the show Solo and Jimmy returned to the locker room and confirmed they couldn’t find Jey. Roman apologized for getting upset earlier then told them Paul Heyman had steak and sushi sent to the bus. He told them to go to the bus and enjoy the meal as he made his way to the ring.

Roman Reigns than made his way out into the arena with his belts and just Paul Heyman by his side. The fans greeted him with “Sami” chants as he asked Greenville, SC to acknowledge him. The “Sami” chants got louder. Roman said he would rather talk about someone who deserves his attention like Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. He said he’ll talk about Sami, but there’s two sides to every story.

The Tribal Chief said at WarGames he saw what he needed to see in Sami, and he saw greed. He said he gave Sami the opportunity of a lifetime and Sami used him. Sami Zayn then showed up in a hoodie and attacked Roman from behind as the crowd went wild. Roman and Sami brawled in the ring and Roman beat Sami down. Paul Heyman handed Roman Reigns a chair, but Sami speared him as the crowd went wild and chanted for Sami again.

Sami Zayn tried to hit Roman Reigns with the chair, but Roman got out of the ring. Zayn got on the mic and said Roman is wrong about him. He never wanted anything from him until now. He said he’s coming after Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa then appeared out of nowhere and beat Sami down.

Sami was in the corner with a chair wrapped around his neck and Solo was preparing to ram into Sami, but Roman stopped him as the fans chanted “we want Jey!” Roman said that they want Jey, but he doesn’t have Jey because of Sami broke up his family. He told Sami he’s going to give him what he wants, but he’s going to break him in Montreal at Elimination Chamber. Roman told Sami he will see him soon then held his belts in Sami’s face and asked “Sami who?” as the show went off the air.
