It’s been years since fans have seen Ryback on WWE programming as the former Intercontinental Champion officially parted ways with the company in 2016. Following his departure from WWE, Ryback hasn’t been shy about criticizing the company, and his criticism has seemingly closed to door for a potential return.
Recently a fan asked Ryback why he doesn’t return to WWE, and he explained that he wishes the company the best, but stated that some “serious wrongs” would need to be righted in order for him to work with the promotion again.
“Now that Vince [McMahon] is gone, I am well, well moved on past the situation. I wish them all the best. I am doing great. I am at peace with everything on that, and I won what I needed to win. They’re doing good. I’m doing good, and life is good. I’ve got my health back. I’ve been blessed, very grateful for everything, for something like that to even remotely happen. Some serious wrongs need to be righted, and it would most, honestly take The Rock getting involved for something to get done.”
WWE has given no indication that they’re interested in bringing Ryback back to the company, but as we’ve seen in the past you can never say never when it comes to potential WWE returns.
