Ryback Reacts To CM Punk’s Back Surgery, Says It’s His Bad

It seems like just yesterday that CM Punk was blasting Ryback on Colt Cabana’s podcast. Punk made several claims that he felt Ryback intentionally hurt him and labeled him as generally unsafe to work with. Punk made an announcement on Wednesday that he would need to undergo back surgery to take care of some nagging injuries from his wrestling days and now Ryback is saying it’s his bad.

Ryback posted the following after CM Punk made the announcement that he would need back surgery to repair a herniated disc.

Punk called out Ryback for a botched table spot on the Colt Cabana podcast and he claims that he confronted Ryback after the botch happened. In his version of the story Punk says he asked Ryback if he did it on purpose or if he’s just “dumb as f&C#.” According to Punk Ryback responded by saying he was “dumb as f&C#.”

Ryback addressed the story on Chris Jericho’s podcast shortly after Punk made the claim. He said that the story Punk described never happened and he wished him the best.

“It’s one of those things, it’s like, come on man. I don’t understand if it’s a personal thing with me. I don’t know but I have no ill feeling towards the guy, I wish him the best.” Ryback told Chris Jericho.
