When you’re a Rusev fan, every day is Rusev Day, and next week Rusev will be facing The Undertaker in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
The Casket Match has been a hot topic as of late, because after Rusev was initially announced for the match, WWE decided to pull him and replace him with Chris Jericho.
But earlier this week that all changed when WWE pulled Chris Jericho from the match, and replaced Y2J with Rusev.
Now The Bulgarian Brute is set to face The Deadman, but he recently took to Twitter to do a little trolling when he posted a Throwback Thursday tweet featuring a photo advertising Jericho for the match.
Last week on Raw, Bobby Lashley made his return to WWE, and this week Bobby Roode was drafted to Raw during the Superstar Shake-Up.
Following Bobby’s move to Raw, Rusev predicted that only one Bobby will keeping their first name moving forward.
As we’ve seen in the past, WWE has a habit of shortening the names of Superstars, and no one knows this better than Rusev, who was at one time known as Alexander Rusev.
