On January 16, the very first episode of WWE Mixed Match Challenge is set to air on Facebook Watch immediately after SmackDown Live.
So far several teams have been announced for the big tournament including Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss & Braun Strowman, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode along with Sasha Banks & Finn Balor.
Now yet another team has been confirmed for Mixed Match Challenge, as it’s been revealed that Rusev will be reuniting with his wife Lana for the tournament.
For several years The Bulgarian Brute and The Ravishing Russian worked together as a duo on TV, but it’s been a while since fans have seen them together.
2017 was a big year for Lana as she wrestled several matches on TV, and even went on to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Rusev’s year was full of ups and downs, but he seems to have momentum on his side at the moment, as the fans can’t get enough of Rusev Day.
In any case, SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan recently selected Rusev’s partner, and The Bulgarian Brute was more than happy to find out that he’ll be teaming with Lana.
