The Bulgarian Brute was moved to SmackDown during the “Superstar Shakeup” this month, but it could be some time before Rusev is seen on the show. He’s currently out with an injury and isn’t expected to be back until sometime this summer, but that could be a good thing.

It’s being reported by Sportskeeda that he has some backstage heat on him for cutting his hair without telling WWE officials. “Handsome” Rusev was beginning to pick up steam on WWE television, which he believed required a haircut. But, he didn’t ask permission to do it.
While he’s recovering from shoulder surgery, WWE officials will have a chance to forgive and forget. By the time he returns over the summer, it’s unlikely there will be any backstage heat on him that will keep the former United States Champion from becoming a force to be reckoned with on SmackDown Live.
Lana will also be featured on SmackDown Live, but WWE officials are reportedly breaking her away from Rusev. The logic is for The Ravishing Russian to stand on her own in the women’s division. Meanwhile, Rusev will return to WWE programming with a vengeance over the summer.
