Last month WWE made some coronavirus related budget cuts, and the company ended up releasing talents, producers, coaches and more.
Rusev and Zack Ryder had both been with WWE for a number of years, but unfortunately for them they both got released in April.
The former WWE Superstars are still quite active on social media, and when a fan recently asked Rusev how he found out about his release he said that he received a text telling him to call the office.
Ryder then responded by saying, “Haha you too?”
At this point it’s not clear where Zack Ryder or Rusev will be going next, but it’s believed that both will be free to work anywhere on July 15th when their non-compete clause expires.
