We’re only a few days away from the annual SummerSlam pay-per-view and some big matches have been added to the card over the last few weeks.
Several titles will be on the line when the show airs live on Sunday, but fans shouldn’t expect to see the Intercontinental Championship defended at the event.
Shinsuke Nakamura has been feuding with Ali recently, and it was rumored that Shinsuke would be defending the IC Title against Ali at the pay-per-view, but Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the title match isn’t happening on Sunday.
It was also expected that Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan would be added to the card, but apparently that match won’t be part of the card either, although it was recently reported that Roman Reigns may still wrestle at the event.
