We’re only a few weeks away from WrestleMania 34, and for the better part of a year now it’s been rumored that WWE officials were planning for Roman Reigns to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
While the match order hasn’t officially been set at this point in time, it’s been confirmed that Brock vs. Roman is happening, and it seems highly likely that Roman and Brock will be main eventing the show. But even though WrestleMania 34 hasn’t happened yet, it’s never too early to start talking about the main event for WrestleMania 35.
Ticket Drew and Slice Wrestling who have broken stories in the past are both now reporting that the rumored main event for WrestleMania 35 will feature Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair or Asuka.
Ticket Drew noted that there’s been talk of women main eventing WrestleMania at some point over the next few years, but Slice Wrestling took things one step further.
Slice Wrestling is claiming that WWE signing Ronda Rousey is just the first step in the plan toward bringing the women to the main event of WrestleMania.
Current matches which are rumored to be considered would either see Ronda Rousey face Charlotte, or Asuka with the Women’s Championship on the line.
Ronda Rousey has gotten a lot of people talking about WWE as of late, and it looks like she’s being set up for a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34.
As of right now this is just a rumor, but it sounds like WWE officials are seriously considering the possibility of letting the women’s division make history on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
