According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE has an offer out to Ric Flair in order for him to return to television. He’s currently scheduled to undergo a physical this week in Philadelphia and he has reportedly been working out quite a bit. Their report mentions that he’s currently 230 pounds but he hopes to drop down to 225 before returning to TV.
One of the ideas that are currently being pitched for his return is to align him with The Miz once again but some in the company feel as if that would be a waste for Flair and that The Miz is “damaged goods.” Flair apparently is pushing to be a manager for Dolph Ziggler but that idea doesn’t seem to have been met with much enthusiasm from WWE officials. One other idea that was pitched is for Flair to manage The Shield in order to continue the angle that was set up a few weeks ago on Raw.
