Rumored Plans For Roman Reigns At WWE WrestleMania 37

Roman Reigns has been involved in some of the top matches at WrestleMania for years now, but he missed WrestleMania 36 this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tribal Chief made his surprise return at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, and he’s been on the top of the mountain ever since he won the Universal Championship at Payback.

WrestleMania season is right around the corner, and WrestleTalk is reporting that WWE is still hoping that The Rock will step into the ring to face Roman Reigns. However, whether or not that actually happens depends on the pandemic, and The Rock’s movie schedule.

If Rock can’t work the show other potential opponents that have been brought up in early discussions include Big E and Daniel Bryan.

Drew McIntyre is another name that’s been up as an option if The Rock doesn’t return, as WWE officials were reportedly impressed with the Drew vs. Roman match that took place at Survivor Series.

Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns is another back up plan that has been discussed.

It’s being said that pretty much everyone in WWE is hoping that The Rock returns, but contingency plans are being made.
