Rumored Plans For A 3rd Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Backlash has come and gone, but in a few weeks the stars of WWE will be competing at Money in the Bank in Chicago, and it looks like fans could be seeing something new this year.

Last year WWE introduced the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, in addition to the traditional men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

It looks like fans could be seeing yet another new concept this year, because Heel By Nature is reporting that advertising for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view is showing three briefcases, one red, one blue and one white.

With three ladder matches possibly being scheduled for the card, it looks like WWE may be going in an interesting direction, as Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that we could see the first ever tag team Money in the Bank match this year.

“You know they’re going to do a men, they’re going to do a women, they may do a tag,” Meltzer said via Ringside News. “If there is a third one that’s what it’s going to be.”

A tag team MITB match would be another first for WWE, and the match could potentially steal the show if they do indeed go through with this idea.

What do you think, do you want to see a tag team MITB ladder match this year? Sound off in the comments below.
