Last summer WWE revived the cruiserweight division with the Cruiserweight Classic, and fans seemed to enjoy watching the tournament on the WWE Network. This year the women of professional wrestling are stepping into the spotlight as they get ready to compete in the first ever Mae Young Classic. With the tournament set to tape this summer, everyone’s wondering who will be competing in the Mae Young Classic.
PWInsider is reporting that Bianca Blair, Lacey Evans, Taynara Melo, Sarah Logan, Kimber Lee, Julia Ho, Victoria Gonzalez, Mary-Kate, Danielle Kamela, and Zhao Xia are all rumored for the tournament.
They will join recently signed talents Nixon Newell, Evie, Demi Bennett, Kairi Hojo, and Thea Trinidad and Marti Belle and Mia Yim are rumored for the tournament as well.
The Revival have been out of action for a few weeks now, but last night they made a brief appearance on Raw. It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the future, as Scott Dawson posted the following:
