The women of WWE made history last week when they competed in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble, and they’re set to make history again later this month when they compete in the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Stephanie McMahon confirmed the match on Monday Night Raw this week, and it was also confirmed that Alexa Bliss will be defending the Raw Women’s Championship inside the Elimination Chamber.
So far Bliss is the only competitor confirmed for the match, so there are still five open spots that need to be filled.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that local advertising in Las Vegas lists the competitors as Alexa Bliss, Sonya Deville, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Mandy Rose.
Asuka won the first ever women’s Royal Rumble on Sunday night, but before she was able to reveal which champion she wants to face at WrestleMania, she was interrupted by Ronda Rousey.
Asuka still has yet to declare who she will be facing at the Show of Shows, so it appears that we could be seeing a big shake up in the women’s division ahead of WrestleMania.
