Every year the same thing. WrestleMania gets close and rumors that Bill Goldberg is negotiating with WWE begin to surface but it looks like this time they’re starting early. The latest rumor going around is that WWE will feature Bill Goldberg as one of the big attractions in the WWE2K15 video game this year which they will announce around SummerSlam. Then they will use that hype to build towards a match at WrestleMania 31.
Goldberg has talked to company officials in recent years but nothing ever seems to come out of it. It will be interesting to see if a Goldberg return does finally happen at WrestleMania 31.
Bringing him back would be a huge step backwards in my opinion, maybe as a mic or a manager, but c’mon. Dude couldn’t really wrestle as it was, now they want him back in his 50s? Doesn’t make sense, but they keep doing these boneheaded part timer deals. I have a feeling it’s going to be a Goldfarb vs Lesnar at WM31 if it does happen.
