Rumor Has It WWE Is Considering Snoop Dogg For The 2016 Hall Of Fame Class

With the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony comes the annual induction into the Celebrity Wing. It’s been rumored for months that Regis Philbin would be getting inducted this year, but now it seems that WWE has a different name in mind.

It’s being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is trying to work out a deal to induct Snoop Dogg as part of the 2016 Hall of Fame class. It was noted by Jim Ross on his podcast that he’s heard rumors of a possible Snoop Dogg induction as well.

Snoop has made several appearances on WWE programming in the past and he’s also been the host of Raw. Snoop even had the honor of being the “Master of Ceremonies” for the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjill match at WrestleMania 24. He also happens to be the cousin of Sasha Banks.

In other Hall of Fame news, it’s being reported that WWE may be giving the Warrior Award to Joan Lunden. Lunden is the host of Good Morning America and she is also a breast cancer survivor and she recently partnered with Susan G. Komen.
