As noted, The New York post recently ran a story about Billy Corgan’s attempt to buy TNA, and it was noted that WWE and ROH were both rumored to have placed bids to purchase TNA.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that people close to the situation have heard nothing about rumors of WWE and/or ROH attempting to purchase TNA. Sinclair Broadcasting was involved in TNA purchase talks months ago, but at that point they essentially just wanted TNA’s TV time for ROH.
It appears that one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions may have suffered an injury. Sunday night at the NXT live event in Minneapolis Scott Dawson of The Revival appeared before the crowd on one crutch. Dawson did not wrestle at the event, instead his partner Dash Wilder lost to Shane Thorne of TM-61.
Dawson was in action at the live event in Omaha, NE the night before when The Revival teamed up with Samoa Joe to face Shinsuke Nakamura and TM-61.
You can check out a photo of Dawson using the crutch below.
