Daniel Bryan is the current General Manager of SmackDown Live, and last week he announced to the world that he’s been cleared for a return to the ring by WWE, so it’s only a matter of time before we see him back in action.
His return match hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but it’s expected that Daniel Bryan will be teaming up with Shane McMahon to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8.
With Daniel Bryan making his return to the ring, it seems that WWE might be in need of a new General Manager for SmackDown Live depending on how often Bryan will be wrestling.
CageSideSeats notes that it’s rumored Hulk Hogan could become the General Manager of SmackDown Live if he ends up making a return to WWE.
WWE quickly dropped Hulk Hogan back in 2015 after some leaked audio of him using racial slurs surfaced online, and the former World Champion has spent the last 3 years trying to repair his image.
It’s been rumored for a while that WWE officials are just waiting for the right time to bring Hogan back, and it was recently confirmed that he’ll be attending the premiere for the upcoming Andre The Giant documentary.
