After Roman Reigns defeated The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 33, it seemed that The Deadman was teasing his retirement, but earlier this year he returned to face John Cena at WrestleMania 34.
Since then Undertaker has wrestled a few matches, and he’s set to return to the ring again in a few weeks when The Brothers of Destruction face off against DX at Crown Jewel.
Even though Taker is still active in the ring, there’s no denying that he’s in the twilight of his career, and Joe Peisich of Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast recently claimed that the former WWE Champion will be retired next year at WrestleMania (via Ringside News).
“It looks like the Undertaker will be, from what I hear, retiring officially at WrestleMania this year, and go into the Hall of Fame before WrestleMania. I hear Undertaker and Batista are the two marquee names for Hall of Fame induction.”
