WrestleMania season has come and gone, and we’re only a few months away from WWE’s annual SummerSlam pay-per-view.
WWE usually tries to pull out all the stops for SummerSlam, but it looks like some of WWE’s top names might not be appearing on the show this year.
Over the last few years John Cena has been taking more and more time away from WWE, and according to CageSideSeats it’s considered more likely that The Undertaker will wrestle at SummerSlam this year than John Cena.
After letting his future hang in doubt for a year, The Undertaker returned to the ring and squashed John Cena at WrestleMania 34. He then followed up by defeating Rusev in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
It’s been rumored that WWE officials were hoping that The Undertaker would wrestle multiple times this year, so it will be interesting to see who he faces if he does indeed return at SummerSlam.
It’s expected that Brock Lesnar will be defending his Universal Championship at SummerSlam with Roman Reigns looking like the most likely candidate to challenge The Beast.
