Rumors have been making the rounds claiming that WWE already has plans in place for the Raw after WrestleMania. The word is that they have something spectacular in store for fans and the show is already booked solid.
People have been speculating about a Shinsuke Nakamura call up, or even an appearance from Goldberg to cement a longer run with the company.
Unfortunately, Dave Meltzer recently took to Twitter to dispel this myth as only high hopes. When he was asked if WWE had anything big already planned, he said that they don’t even have an episode of Raw written until days before the show and there are constant rewrites leading up to the live show.
This falls in line with previous word about how the Raw show is written as scripts have been known to leak recently that prove things are always changing in creative due to timing or whatever reason they see fit.
Chris Jericho suffered a rather brutal beat-down on Monday’s Raw during the climax of the Festival Of Friendship segment. Jericho is very old school in the way that he approaches the business. Therefore, even though he might have appeared on promotional material for the Raw house shows this weekend, he was nowhere in sight.
The plan might be to keep him off of television entirely while he licks his wounds, only to come back in some capacity to seek his revenge over his former best, best friend. We’ll just have to tune in on Monday to see what’s going to happen because as we know, things are always changing backstage.
