This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was action packed as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament continued. Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega and Ivy Nile faced off in a triple threat match, and it was Lyra Valkyria who picked up the win to advance in the tournament.
After the match some fans in the live audience who were in attendance for the show thought that Zelina Vega “seemingly waving goodbye” which led to questions about her status with WWE.
PWInsider is reporting that Zelina Vega is still under contract with WWE for several more years, so she’s not parting ways with the company any time in the near future.
It was noted that Vega received the biggest reaction out of the three competitors in the match, and he elimination from the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament ended up “sparking a significant reaction” from fans on social media.
There’s currently no word on whether or not WWE creative has any big plans for Zelina Vega, but she’s not gone from the company, and she wasn’t saying farewell on Monday night.
