Last week WWE released a number of talents including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin and more. The wrestling world is still processing the releases and wondering who else could be parting ways with WWE in the months to come.
Recently a rumor regarding Shinsuke Nakamura’s status has been making the rounds and the rumor claimed that the former United States Champion has parted ways with WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that no one in WWE has heard anything that indicates Shinsuke Nakamura has left WWE. Rumors of Shinsuke Nakamura’s departure have been making the rounds for months now, but it seems that he is still with the company at this point in time.
Shinsuke Nakamura originally signed with WWE in 2016 and he quickly became one of the top stars on the NXT brand. He was called up to the main roster in 2017, and went on to win the Royal Rumble in 2018. Nakamura failed to win the WWE Championship when he challenged AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34, but was regularly featured on WWE programming in the years that followed.
In more recent years Shinsuke Nakamura has not been as prominently featured on television which has led to a lot of speculation regarding his status with the company. He last wrestled when he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the 4/18 episode of SmackDown.
