Rumor Killer On Vince McMahon’s Meeting With Madison Square Garden Officials

Vince McMahon is one of the most powerful figures in the professional wrestling business, and for a long time WWE has had a hold on Madison Square Garden.

But times have changed and next year Ring of Honor and NJPW will be holding an event at Madison Square Garden on April 6.

Recently there’s been a rumor making the rounds claiming that Vince McMahon was set to meet with Madison Square Garden officials, but PWInsider is reporting that the rumor is not true.

According to the report, MSG sources have confirmed that there have been no meetings with Vince McMahon, and there aren’t currently any meetings scheduled.

Furthermore, meetings between the venue and WWE are usually done with the live events department, not Vince McMahon himself.

Because of the rumor, there was speculation that Vince might have been trying to kill the big ROH/NJPW event, but that’s not the case.
