WWE Friday Night SmackDown is often an eventful show, and following last week’s episode the wrestling world was talking about Jade Cargill as she was seemingly written off TV during the episode.
At one point cameras cut backstage to show Jade Cargill laid out on top of a car with the implication being that someone had attacked the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. It was later reported that the angle was done to cover for a legitimate injury, but those reports are now being disputed.
PWInsider is reporting that multiple sources have claimed there is incorrect reporting going around regarding Jade Cargill’s status, and claims that Cargill is legitimately injured are incorrect.
According to the report the angle that was done on SmackDown last week was all storyline and nothing more. Following SmackDown, WWE announced multiple injuries for Jade Cargill. It’s being said that the announcement was made to put over the severity of the attack, and to set the stage for a future storyline involving Cargill.
