Kenny Omega is always a hot topic in the world of professional wrestling, but right now everyone’s talking about the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion because he announced that he is leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.
There’s no shortage of options when it comes to Kenny Omega’s future, as AEW is currently stacking up their roster, and it was recently reported that WWE made a “fantastic offer” to Omega.
However, there’s also another interesting rumor going around regarding Kenny’s status with WWE.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shot down a rumor claiming that WWE offered Kenny Omega creative control. Meltzer noted that creative control is something that is rarely offered to wrestlers, especially in the modern era.
As far as his future goes, Meltzer also noted that AEW officials are confident that Omega will sign with the company, but at this point nothing has been confirmed.
Kenny Omega is expected to make a decision regarding his future at the end of the month.
