There are plenty of places for wrestlers to work nowadays, but WWE is still the world’s most famous wrestling promotion, and there’s no telling when stars from the past might return.
Recently former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio claimed that he is in talks with WWE about a return, and he indicated that he could be back with the company at some point in 2020.
However, Fightful Select reports that sources in the company have said there is no truth to Del Rio’s claims.
Another source reportedly noted that the company wouldn’t do anything to make Paige uncomfortable, and that even if Paige doesn’t do anything in WWE she’s still more valuable to the company that anything Alberto Del Rio can offer.
Paige and Del Rio were previously a couple, and it’s being said that WWE doesn’t want to risk making Paige feel uneasy by bringing Del Rio back.
