Sunday night Brock Lesnar defended the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns for the third time this year, and in the end it was Roman Reigns who walked out with the belt.
Brock Lesnar’s WWE status has been a hot topic all year long, as he hasn’t been shy about letting the world know he wants to return to UFC.
PWInsider is reporting that the door is open for Brock Lesnar to return to WWE down the line, but the expectation is that Brock will be focusing on returning to WWE in 2019, but WWE would be happy to have him back once his MMA journey is complete.
It was also rumored that Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were scheduled for a segment on Raw, and that Triple H’s promo was used to fill that slot, but according to PWI that was not the case.
Brock Lesnar’s title match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam on Sunday reportedly went exactly as planned.
