WrestleMania 40 is almost here and there’s no denying that anticipation for the Showcase of the Immortals is at an all time high this year. The Rock will be teaming up with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of night one, and Rock was recently targeted by an interesting name on social media.
Former AEW World Champion MJF recently responded to one of The Rock’s tweets and he accused The Final Boss of stealing his idea to lash Cody Rhodes then MJF pointed out that Rock was trying to buy art from his ex.
MJF hasn’t appeared on TV since he dropped the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe at Worlds End back in December. For years now MJF has been teasing a jump to WWE in 2024, and a number of fans on social media have been wondering if he could show up at the big event.
Fightful Select is reporting that there are no plans for Maxwell Jacob Friedman to show up at WrestleMania this weekend as he is still with All Elite Wrestling.
MJF’s tweet directed at The Rock certainly got fans talking, but it doesn’t seem that there’s any chance of the former AEW World Champion showing up at WrestleMania this weekend. There’s currently no word on when MJF will be making his return to TV. Stay tuned for updates.
