Eric Bischoff is a pretty big deal in the world of professional wrestling. He was responsible for a lot of WCW’s success during the Monday Night Wars, and WCW became so successful that it threatened to put WWE out of business.
But WWE survived, and WCW closed, and eventually Eric Bischoff became the General Manager of Monday Night Raw. After his WWE stint wrapped up, he later joined TNA for a number of years, but his run with the company didn’t quite work out the way he had hoped, and since then he hasn’t been involved in running a wrestling promotion.
Eric Bischoff recently posted a tweet saying that the “game just changed” and he told fans to stay tuned. There was some speculation that Bischoff could be getting involved in wrestling again in a big way, but it appears that’s not the case.
There’s a rumor going around claiming that Eric Bischoff has become the co-owner of a wrestling promotion, but he took to Twitter to say he’s not the co-owner of any wrestling company.
Cleveland Knights Championship Wrestling in Parma, Ohio did confirm that Eric Bischoff will be appearing at their event on February 9 as Director of Operations, but they clarified that he is not the co-owner of the company.
Eric Bischoff has been responding to fans who have been trying to guess what his big announcement will be, but so far it doesn’t look like anyone has figured it out.
