Jim Ross On Triple H Saying CM Punk’s Ass Was Too Big

It’s been years since CM Punk parted ways with WWE, and it’s no big secret that Punk didn’t always have the support from the office during his run with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Punk didn’t look like a stereotypical WWE Superstar when he first arrived on the roster, and on a recent episode of Grilling JR WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross explained that Triple H hated CM Punk’s look and didn’t see him as championship material.

Ross went on to explain that Triple H made comments about how CM Punk had a “big butt” and “looked soft.”

When JR noted that he remembered, “someone saying his ass was too big,” co-host Conrad Thompson asked who made the comments, and JR revealed it was Triple H.

“Hunter! It’s all about the workout s–t, man. Or how he looked in an 8×10. He’s not gonna look the same because he’s not the same, and all you do is put out androids that look alike, then what the hell do ya got?”

CM Punk is currently booked to appear at Starrcast III this weekend, and his panel can be watched via Fite TV at 1 PM EST.
