For years people have been talking about Ronda Rousey joining WWE, and now she’s set to make her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8. Rousey will be teaming up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and it looks like we’ll be seeing her at WrestleMania 35 as well.
WWE has confirmed that WrestleMania 35 will take place from MetLife Stadium on Sunday, April 7, and the company held a big press conference at the stadium on Friday.
During the press conference Triple H spoke about the Women’s Revolution, and he also confirmed that Ronda Rousey will be competing at WrestleMania next year.
“While that evolution was happening in WWE, somebody else was creating an evolution of her own. She was winning medals, winning championships, having entire divisions created just for her, showing the world she can do anything. I’m really proud to announce that lifelong fan of WWE is now a full time WWE Superstar. I’m also proud to say that she will be standing in the ring right here next year in the middle of MetLife Stadium, competing at WrestleMania.”
You can check out the press conference in the video below. Triple H talks about Ronda Rousey around the 24 minute mark.
