When Ronda Rousey Will Report To The WWE Performance Center

WWE’s acquisition of Ronda Rousey made headlines all over the world. She’s an incredibly recognizable face that has been able to cross over from the MMA world into the general pop culture. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion will bring a lot of eyes to WWE and anything she does will certainly be heavily scrutinized. This is why WWE needs to make sure she’s more than ready for the tasks laid in front of her.

Rousey is obviously being factored into WrestleMania this year judging on how intensely she pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign in the closing moments of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. But she is still practically a rookie. She is an incredibly famous rookie, but Rousey will naturally be green when she comes into WWE.

Triple H recently spoke to USA Today where he explained how WWE plans on ironing out any bumps in Ronda Rousey’s move set. But first, she has to get the Mile 22 movie out of the way. After all, she really was in Columbia and flew in just to appear at the Royal Rumble and then it was back to Bogota so she could keep shooting the upcoming Mark Wahlberg film.

Rousey will report to the WWE Performance Center as soon as she can and the plan is to put her to work learning what she needs to know in order to perform in the ring like a WWE Superstar.

“She’ll finish up this movie, and then she’s in,” Triple H said. “She’ll be at the Performance Center, she’ll be training and working with us every day. And we’ll see where it goes. It is not for lack of desire or motivation if anything. The two times she has been at the Performance Center training, we’ve had to try to get her to back off because she will train all day and all night if we let her.”

Rousey certainly has the passion to become a top WWE Superstar and with her name value, it might not take much to get her there. Hopefully, Rousey will be able to deliver when the time comes. After all, a lot of people will be paying close attention to her as we travel down the Road To WrestleMania.
