Ronda Rousey & Natalya were scheduled to face Nia Jax & Tamina on Raw this week, but Natalya was pulled from the match after The Riott Squad put her through a table.
Ember Moon replaced Natalya, and Rousey & Moon went on to defeat Jax & Tamina in the main event. Following Raw, Rousey commented on the night saying that it didn’t go how she expected, and she also teased that she has more allies that just Natalya when she posted the following:
“Last night started with me and @natbynature in the eye of a bullshit storm getting jumped by both team #MuteForce and the #RiotSquad. @natbynature was taken out of action for the night, #riotsquad was sent home…. @niajaxwwe and @saronasnukawwe thought they dodged a bullet and could weasel out of our tag match that night… But #MuteForce has more enemies than just me, and I have more allies than just @natbynature ….”
It’s been rumored for quite some time that WWE officials are looking to book a Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match in the future.
With Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke all in NXT, we seem to be getting closer and closer to that match becoming a reality.
At this point it remains to be seen if Rousey is teasing the arrival of her fellow Horsewomen, but it’s an interesting tease nonetheless.
