Sunday night at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Ronda Rousey challenged for the Raw Women’s Championship for the first time in her career when she faced off against Nia Jax.
Unfortunately the match didn’t go how Rousey likely wanted it to, because Alexa Bliss interfered and beat both Rousey and Jax down with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Bliss then cashed in on Nia Jax to become the new Raw Women’s Championship.
Alexa Bliss held a championship celebration on Raw this week, but she was interrupted by Ronda Rousey who attacked the Raw Women’s Champion.
Kurt Angle tried to calm Rousey down, and she reacted by grabbing the Money in the Bank briefcase and beating Kurt down with it.
Referees then tried to stop her and she assaulted the referees as well.
Ronda Rousey then put Alexa Bliss through a table with a gut-wrench powerbomb.
Kurt Angle later announced that Ronda has been suspended for 30 days, so it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing her at Extreme Rules next month.
