Ronda Rousey recently did some media interviews after the weigh in for UFC 171. She talked about her acting schedule, her next opponent, CM Punk and more. You can read some highlights below:
On what she said to CM Punk when he attended her fight against Sara McMann at UFC 170:
“I was totally a dork and star struck,” Rousey admitted. “I think the first thing I said to him was ‘I love you,’ which was terrible and not smooth at all. He was super cool.”
On if she might be interested in wrestling:
“It’s fun, we’re all big fans in the house and the ‘Rowdy’ in my name comes from ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper,” Rousey said. “It’s just for fun for us, but professionally, who knows? Me and all the girls are huge fans. If they were all down to do something, I’d probably be happy to jump in with them. But I have the most hectic schedule ever with the fights and the movies right now and adding a whole other career on top of that right now is a tall order.”
