Ronda Rousey officially joined WWE at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and since then she’s made a few appearances on WWE programming to hype up her match at WrestleMania 34.
Rousey is still getting used to the business, and some fans feel that she may need to enlist the services of a manager to do the talking for her. Looking at what Paul Heyman has done for Brock Lesnar’s career, Heyman seems to be the perfect choice for Rousey’s manager.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ronda Rousey does want Paul Heyman to be her spokesperson, but it seems unlikely to happen at the moment.
Currently the idea is for Ronda to be a babyface who goes up against Stephanie McMahon, but Heyman’s role is more of a heel, so putting them together doesn’t fit into WWE’s plans.
Speaking of people Ronda Rousey wants to work with, she recently appeared on Get Up and talked about potentially working with CM Punk someday.
“I would really love to work with CM Punk,” Rousey said. “But I don’t know if that’s possible.”
When asked if she knows something everyone else doesn’t, she said, “No, I wish I did. I really wish I did. I wish I was breaking the news right now. No, I got no news to break. Just pleading, pleading eyes.”
