When Ronda Rousey first arrived in WWE fans immediately started talking about all of the potential opponents she could face. Ronda went on to face a variety of Superstars during her time with the company, and she even main evented WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat match with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.
Even though Ronda Rousey did get to face off against Becky Lynch in a triple threat match she expressed some disappointment over the fact that they never clashed in a singles match during a recent LiveSigning.
“Well, I really wanted to have that singles with Becky (Lynch) that constantly got dangled in front of me — I never got to have — which you can read about in our book at OurFightBook.com you can get it at and hear me b***h about that for a couple hundred pages.”
In her new book Our Fight, Ronda Rousey shared some insight into how the triple threat match came together noting that it was a Vince McMahon decision that she accepted.
“Charlotte and I were coming off a great match at Survivor Series, but now that Becky was back, the “WWE Universe” (as the company refers to their own fanbase) was dying for a singles match between the two of us, the one they had been promised. However, Vince had declared [the triple threat match], so I sighed and accepted it.”
