For years the wrestling world talked about the possibility of Ronda Rousey stepping into the squared circle and she finally made her in-ring debut when she teamed with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.
It wasn’t long before Ronda Rousey became a title contender as she ended up challenging Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship at the SummerSlam premium live event. Ultimately Rousey defeated Bliss to become the Raw Women’s Champion.
Recently Ronda Rousey talked about her feud with Alexa Bliss during an interview with The Lapsed Fan, and she made it clear that she thought WWE’s decision to have her face off against Bliss was “f*****g ridiculous.”
“The fact that they had me fighting Alexa Bliss and all was f*****g ridiculous. And you want to know why they had me against Alexa Bliss? Because she had the most merch sales at the time. Like what the f**k? Like that’s your decision making process?”
Throughout the course of her two runs with WWE, Ronda Rousey managed to become a one time Raw Women’s Champion, a two time SmackDown Women’s Champion, a one time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and a one time Royal Rumble winner. While Rousey achieved success in WWE it appears that she is less than thrilled with how things turned out during her time with the company.
