Ronda Rousey officially signed her WWE contract earlier this year, and the Baddest Woman on the Planet has been on a roll.
She managed to win her debut match on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and she’s the current Raw Women’s Champion. It’s clear that Ronda Rousey loves professional wrestling, but no one can wrestle forever, and Ronda is no exception.
Rousey recently opened up about her future during a Q&A session on her YouTube channel, and she noted that she can’t wrestle forever because she feels like she’s failing her family (via WrestleZone).
“[Visibly emotional, Rousey cries] When I came back from RAW the other night…[Rousey recounts feeding her goat when he was small and missing his passing due to her being on the road]. I fuc*ing love that goat. He was my little baby… Sometimes I feel like I can’t do it all. I have to pick one thing. I can’t wrestle forever because I feel like I’m failing my family….It’s rough. I wouldn’t be leaving home unless it was to do the most fantastic things ever and I really really do enjoy it and love it, but all that energy I spend on the WWE is energy I don’t spend on my family.”
At this point it’s not known exactly how long Rousey will be with WWE, but fans can expect to see her wrestle on the Grandest Stage of Them All at least one more time at WrestleMania 35 next year.
