Ronda Rousey successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax at TLC on Sunday, but she didn’t take the rest of the night off as she decided to get involved in the main event.
As Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were standing at the top of a ladder, Rousey made her way down to the ring and pushed it over, which allowed Asuka to take advantage of the situation and win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
It’s clear that things are far from over between Rousey, Lynch & Flair, and Ronda sent a message to her rivals when she posted the following on Instagram:
“#TLC wasn’t revenge, it was a warning. @charlottewwe @beckylynchwwe You’re both lucky I let you off so easy. Asuka deserves to be champion more than either of you cheating cowards. And @beckylynchwwe says SHE came at ME head on!? @beckylynchwwe has only ever attacked me when my back was turned – that’s some more #BackwardsBullshitBecky. If you and @charlottewwe are smart you’ll consider the score settled, learn this lesson, move on…. and don’t provoke me again.”
It didn’t take long for Becky Lynch and Charlotte to respond.
It certainly seems that there’s a lot of unfinished business between Rousey, Flair and Lynch, but how it will all play out remains to be seen.
