Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan won their respective Royal Rumble matches over the weekend, and they earned the right to challenge the champion of their choosing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Liv Morgan addressed her title shot on Raw and noted that she has not decided who she will be challenging just yet, and Roman Reigns made his way out to the ring during the main event segment.

Roman did his thing as he asked the fans to acknowledge him, which they did, and then they proceeded to chant “OTC!” The Royal Rumble winner brought up how he lost his last championship in Philadelphia, and he won his first Royal Rumble in the same city. He said that Philadelphia is the perfect city to be in because he has a decision to make, and who better to help him than the Philadelphia fans.

The fans immediately chanted for CM Punk. Roman asked if they want him to go after Drew McIntyre and they booed. He asked if they prefer CM Punk and they cheered again then Punk’s music hit.

The Second City Saint made his way down to the ring and he addressed Finn Balor. Roman got offended that Punk was focused on Balor and Punk told The Tribal Chief that he’s a visitor on his show.

CM Punk weighed out the options and the fans continued to boo Drew McIntyre while cheering the idea of a Punk vs. Reigns match at WrestleMania 42. Punk told Roman to take the easy way out and pick Drew McIntyre.

Roman brought up Punk’s history with Drew and argued agains the idea of Drew being “easy” when he said that McIntyre had Punk crying over a stupid bracelet. Punk brought up how Roman needed the help of his family to beat Drew, and Roman told Punk that him and his family are the only reason Punk had a company to come back to.

CM Punk brought up how he was champion for 434 days and Roman was champion for 1,316. He said that Roman followed in his footsteps and learned from him, but just because Roman did it longer doesn’t mean he did it better. Punk continued as he said Roman chooses to be a part timer, and he chooses to be a fighting champion. He told Roman that he chose to bring him into this company when he brought him into The Shield.

Punk claimed Roman knows he can beat Drew McIntyre if he picks door number one, or he can step through door number two and go after the man who has held the title down in Roman’s absence.

Roman told Punk that he’s making all these towns because he took a ten year vacation, and the only thing he learned from Punk is what not to do. The Tribal Chief then confirmed that he’s picking Punk because he hates him, and has always hated him. He told Punk that in the main event of WrestleMania he will acknowledge him then Roman left.
